Concept

The ‘Blushing with Style’ shoot is the ultimate inspiration for any bride with her heart set on a blush scheme for her big day! This shoot beautifully demonstrates how a soft palette combined with some bold accents can create a romance with edge. The light and airy photography by Little and Loves by Francesca captures the relaxed, romantic vibes of the day perfectly.

Location

Bunny Hill Weddings provided the most beautiful of backdrops for the shoot, with their vast naturally lit spaces, subtle decor, and stunning grounds; this venue has so much to offer the Yorkshire couples looking to say ‘I do’.

Styling

The styling was led by Kim at Dreamboats and Carousels. Her vision was one of elegance with a modern twist. And so she teamed her blush tones with gold accents. The tableware consisted of deco inspired charger plates, antique crystal glasses, an abundance of candlelight, finished off with bold succulents and vibrant pink florals for that contemporary touch. A striking look I think you’ll agree!

The plush furniture provided by Event Prop Hire co-ordinated beautifully with the rest of the styling, blush tones, luxurious fabrics with a subtle deco influence. And just to add an additional touch of modernity, Elizabeth James Events supplied the Edison Light Frame.

The florals by Flower Style Beverley were bursting with the prettiest of pink tones and the most incredible textures, mixing it up with some of your more traditional flowers with again those succulents, tying the whole look together perfectly.

Both Grace Eva Cakes and Blossom and Root Design adopted a fresh elegant vibe teaming the pink tones with white and pulling through the gold accents in their finer details.

Attire

Believe it or not, the bridal dress is in fact a subtle blush. I mean, who says your wedding dress have to be white or ivory?! This light and airy gown is the epitome of romance, with is soft tulle overlay and its delicate floral embroidery, it really does take your breath away with its beauty. All dresses were supplied by Elizabeth Lucas.

Accessories

To create a co-ordinated look it was important that the accessories had a gold tone to complement the gold accents elsewhere. We chose to keep it delicate and neutral with the jewellery, styling the bride with our Angelina Earrings and Lily Bracelet and the bridesmaids with again our Lily Bracelet and Faith Choker. This allowed us to style with slightly more elaborate hair accessories, for which we chose the Dahlia Pins for the bride and the Freya Vine for the bridesmaids. These pieces are inspired by the flowers, therefore their intricate detailing complemented the brides floral embroidery beautifully.

Beauty

Paige Lauren Bridal Hair kept the styles super soft and romantic, opting for a textured updo with tousled pieces to frame the face and pins placed to one side of the style. The bridesmaids had a contrasting half-up style, again soft and textured to create an effortless look and finished with the vine perfectly positioned to crown the style.

The make-up by Parlour Make-up Studio was kept natural and again effortless, with a dewy complexion, nude lip and a subtle smoky eye, it really was the perfect finishing touch to complete the look.
