The Green and Gold Excellence concept was part two of the Sneaton Castle shoot, and was featured by Belle Bridal Magazine.

Styling

This concept showcased pure elegance with glimmers of modernity in the finer details. The colour palette included rich greens, soft whites and touches of gold. The table settings were kept fresh and simple, with fanned white napkins and simple cutlery, leaving the bold floral centre piece to do the talking. The Countryside Florist created the most incredible arrangements bursting with rich foliage, soft white flowers and pampas grass. The foliage theme is carried through into White Orchid Print and Design stationary perfectly, with a rich green envelope with a contrasting gold foiled foliage lining, accompanied with a simple invite delicately detailed with a gold foliage design and the most elegant of script fonts. Gabriella Grace Cakes created a four tier cake emerald green cake, complete with gold leaf stencilling and sugar florals as well as matching emerald green fondant biscuits, embossed with initials and finished off with touches of gold leaf .

Attire

Dandy Threads accessorised their three piece tweed suit with an emerald green tie and pocket square duo, perfectly complemented with the themed buttonhole. The Wedding Shop at Whitby supplied a beautiful gown, heavily adorned with crystals and pearls in a floral design, a sheer back with beaded edging and a full tulle skirt.

Accessories

It was essential that we continued the elegant floral theme through our jewels so we chose our Ivy tiara, delicately set with marquise and pear cut crystals in an intertwining branched design. We then complemented the tiara with our Camille earring and necklace set, a drop pear crystal set that subtly oozes elegance. The overall look was understated as the bodice of the dress is so heavily detailed, therefore a touch of sparkle from the accessories is more than enough.

Beauty

As mentioned in the previous blog due to covid restrictions Chrys Chapman was unable to be there in person, however guided Rachel step by step enabling her create a soft, natural and dewy look, complete with a pop of colour on her lip. Paige Lauren styled Rachels hair in a sleek yet soft chignon, leaving some loose tousled pieces to frame the face.

The Couple

Liam and Rachel are a real life couple, set to get married in 2021. There’s a real warmth in the images of real life couples, don’t you think? Having seen them styled in two completely different looks for this shoot, I’m excited to see how they styled their big day when it arrives!
